Some cool pics of the city

Meet the Filmmakers

...and of course, a giant alien spider thing.

The trip was amazing. I learned a ton of stuff and met tons of animators from around the U.S. I am really looking forward to next year!!

Here is a list of the most annoying things that customers have said to me while I am working the drive-thru at McDonalds. I am not making any of this up.
  • (in a fake Indian accent): "How much for a large cock?"
  • (same person, still faking an Indian accent): "What kind of meat is in the Big Mac? Is it cat? dog? cow? or fish?"
  • "How big is your sausage patty?"
  • "I'll have a whopper"
  • customer: "I'll have 20 big macs" me: "You want 20 big macs?" customer: "No, I want 4 big macs."
  • "Please don't spit in my food"
  • "Are you single?"
  • "Are you married?"
  • "I'll have a hamburger, and make sure they don't put cheese on it"
  • "I have a coupon for a free big mac, but I left it at home. Can you just give me a free one anyways?"
  • customer: "I'll have a Mcgriddle." me: "we have a bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle, a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle, and a sausage mcgriddle. which one would you like?" customer: "I don't care."

PEOPLE SUCK AT DRIVING. This is seriously the third time this week that I've almost gotten side-swiped on the highway.
That's the only post I have for today...Classes were pretty boring today. Perhaps I will draw a llama later on tonight to spice things up.

Helpful Studio Tip

This is a super simple tip I use in order to prevent a horrible disaster.
If you are like most college-age artists out there, odds are you are addicted to caffiene, in which case you may have a coke or a coffee next to you while you are working. You probably already see the potential for disaster here...
DO THIS:

In order to prevent THIS:
You should try this. Something as simple as sticking your pop can inside a roll of duct tape will keep your precious caffenated liquids off of your project and save you a TON of grief.

Wasabi

"Lunch box"

My second week at CCS, my friend Stephen and I decided to putz around Detroit for a while, and stopped by Wasabi, a Japanese/Korean restaurant only a few feet from the campus. My second time eating sushi, and I'm still not used to it. So I fed them to Stephen.
Everything else was delicious, and everything cost me only ten bucks.
Maybe one day I'll visit the little crepe shop next to Wasabi. That place smells awesome.
